Tunisair publishes no online assistance-request form: requests are made when booking, or through the Call Centre "cas spéciaux" by phone or email. Powered wheelchairs & batteries
The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.
Canada tariff, Rule 74(F)1(a): the carrier accepts as priority baggage, free of charge and in addition to the checked allowance, "un fauteuil roulant électrique, un fauteuil automoteur ou un fauteuil roulant manuel à cadre rigide". Tunisair's general website does not separately address powered chairs.

Tunisair's general baggage page states that any single piece over 32 kg must be handled by the cargo service; that rule is written for ordinary checked baggage, and Tunisair does not say whether it applies to a heavy power chair — worth asking before travelling. Batteries and their watt-hours are simply not covered anywhere on the site, so a power-chair user must clear the battery with the special-cases desk case by case.

"Les passagers à mobilité réduite peuvent transporter gratuitement un fauteuil roulant et/ou un autre dispositif de réhabilitation duquel ils dépendent." The Canada tariff accepts a rigid-frame or folding manual chair free of charge as priority baggage, in addition to the checked allowance.

Tunisair does not publish whether an on-board aisle chair is carried. Its Canada tariff promises assistance to move between the seat and the aircraft toilet but does not mention an on-board wheelchair.

Fleet detail. Canada tariff: wheelchairs and mobility aids are the last items loaded into the hold and the first taken out, and Tunisair dismantles and reassembles mobility aids free of charge. No aircraft-specific hold or door dimensions are published.
Worth knowing
Tunisair's public mobility-aid policy is thin: the website says only that a PRM may carry a wheelchair and/or another rehabilitation device free of charge and that assistance must be requested 48 hours ahead. There is NO published rule anywhere — website, conditions générales de transport, accessibility plan — on wheelchair batteries (spillable, non-spillable or lithium), on watt-hour limits, on chair weight or on chair dimensions. Everything substantive found here comes from two documents most travellers will never open: the Canada tariff filed with the Canadian Transportation Agency (Rule 74: electric chair accepted free as priority baggage; folding manual chair may be stowed in the cabin if there is room; free dismantling/reassembly; last-in/first-out of the hold; transfer assistance; 1,131 SDR liability with no excess-value declaration accepted) and the 2026 accessibility progress report (own manual chair may be kept to the aircraft door and returned at the aircraft door). Those two apply, respectively, to Canada flights and to manual chairs only, so a power-chair user on any other route has essentially nothing published to rely on and must clear the battery with the special-cases desk. Note also that the French and English special-assistance pages print different call-centre numbers.
