- PhoneArgentina — Contact Center JetSMART
- EmailAssistance documentation mailbox (published only for emotional-support-animal paperwork)
- Online form
No dedicated accessibility line, no mobility-aid email and no TTY/relay: everything goes through the single Argentine Contact Center number or the general contact form. asistencia@jetsmart.com appears in the conditions of carriage only as the mailbox for emotional-support-animal documentation, so do not assume it is staffed for wheelchair queries.

Powered wheelchairs & batteries
The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.
Powered chairs are carried free, but "se permite únicamente el transporte de sillas de ruedas con baterías secas (no derramables) o de litio". No prior approval is required; battery type and the maker's dismantling instructions must be declared at check-in, arriving 2 h (domestic) / 3 h (international) early. JetSMART also reserves the right under Resolution 1532/1998 Art. 8 to refuse a passenger who requires special assistance.

Chairs with a fixed (non-removable) battery travel in the hold with the battery installed and secured: "En baterías de litio, la capacidad máxima permitida es de hasta 300 Wh. En caso de transportar dos baterías, cada una debe tener una capacidad máxima de 160 Wh." [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]

For a removable battery: "Las baterías de litio extraíbles deben transportarse como equipaje de mano, siempre que no superen los 300 Wh o, en caso de llevar dos baterías, que cada una tenga una capacidad máxima de 160 Wh." [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]

No watt-hour figure is published for a SPARE wheelchair battery. The 300 Wh / 2 × 160 Wh figures are written for the chair's own battery or batteries, and JetSMART's general lithium rule (max 100 Wh, 2 spares) is explicitly about consumer devices and power banks, not mobility aids. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]
JetSMART publishes no spare-battery count for wheelchairs; it only says wet/spillable spares are refused. The "máximo de 2 baterías de repuesto o power banks por pasajero" rule on the lithium page covers personal electronics, not mobility aids. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]
Where the chair's battery is removable (e.g. folding chairs) it must be taken out before carriage, its terminals taped, packed in a protective container, handed over at the airport counter and carried as hand baggage. Fixed batteries stay installed and secured on the chair in the hold. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]

Poles/terminals must be protected against short circuits — in a suitable container or covered with tape — for both fixed and removable batteries, and the chair must be handed over switched off with the battery secured. Doing this is the passenger's responsibility. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]

At check-in it is compulsory to state the battery type and any manufacturer instructions for removing and refitting it plus handling recommendations for the hold, and "todas las baterías" must be clearly identifiable; a battery whose Wh rating cannot be verified may be refused. No maximum powered-wheelchair dimensions are published.
No weight limit for powered wheelchairs is published.
JetSMART does not publish whether a powered chair is returned at the aircraft door.
Arrive 2 h early for domestic and 3 h for international flights with a battery-powered chair (the Chilean site prints 3 h / 4 h for the identical product). Removing, refitting and insulating the battery is expressly the passenger's own responsibility.
Manual wheelchairs
Wheelchairs, crutches, walking sticks and prostheses "podrán ser transportadas sin costo adicional". Caveat printed in the same contract: under Art. 8, Annex I of Argentine Resolution MEOySP 1532/1998 JetSMART reserves the right to refuse carriage where the passenger's condition is such that it requires special assistance from the carrier.

JetSMART does not say whether a folding manual wheelchair may be stowed in the cabin.
No in-cabin stowage dimensions for a folding wheelchair are published.
No maximum wheelchair dimensions are published.
No weight limit for wheelchairs is published.
JetSMART does not publish where a checked wheelchair is returned (aircraft door vs baggage claim).
The conditions of carriage make dismantling and reassembling the chair — mechanical or electric — and removing its battery the passenger's exclusive responsibility.
Booking & cost
Flag the requirement when buying under "Necesidades especiales"; if already booked, "puedes notificarlo a través de nuestro Contact Center hasta 48 horas antes de la salida de tu vuelo" (up to 48 h before departure).

JetSMART asks passengers to declare the need at purchase in the "Necesidades especiales" section, or to notify the Contact Center up to 48 h before departure — also for connecting itineraries. With a battery-powered chair, arrive at least 2 h before a domestic flight and 3 h before an international one.

"Las sillas de ruedas para pasajeros con movilidad reducida y las prótesis necesarias para desplazarse son transportadas sin costo adicional." The conditions of carriage repeat that wheelchairs, crutches, walking sticks and prostheses are carried at no extra cost. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]

JetSMART does not publish how many mobility devices are carried free per passenger.
The conditions of carriage limit liability for loss, delay or damage to baggage on international flights to the international conventions (Montreal, 1999) and on wholly domestic flights to that country's law. Nothing specific to mobility aids is published, and dismantling/reassembly of the chair is the passenger's responsibility. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]

On board
No on-board aisle chair is mentioned anywhere on JetSMART's Argentine site.
Not published; JetSMART operates an all-A320-family narrowbody fleet and says nothing about accessible lavatories. [JetSMART Argentina — jetsmart.com/ar/es]
The conditions of carriage give any passenger with a disability or illness the right to request assistance from the carrier, and the FAQ confirms a connecting itinerary is possible "pero debes informar a JetSMART de tus necesidades antes de viajar". Unlike the Chilean site, the Argentine pages do not describe how far the escort goes (to the seat, the aircraft door or the gate).

JetSMART publishes no seating policy for wheelchair users (no movable-armrest or bulkhead statement). It only restricts emergency-exit rows to passengers with enough mobility, strength, balance and dexterity, and bars POC users from the first row and exit rows. Worth knowing
JetSMART runs one website with a country switch; the Argentine pages (jetsmart.com/ar/es) are cited here and the wheelchair/battery text is word-for-word the same as the Chilean one except the airport arrival times (2 h domestic / 3 h international in Argentina vs 3 h / 4 h in Chile). The FAQ answers are collapsed accordions the plain fetcher does not render — they were read from the page's own HTML. The single most important Argentina-only line sits in the conditions of carriage: under Art. 8, Annex I of Resolución MEOySP 1532/1998 the carrier "tiene derecho a denegar el transporte si la conducta, edad o estado mental o físico del Pasajero es tal que requiera asistencia especial del transportador" — i.e. JetSMART reserves a right of refusal aimed squarely at passengers needing assistance. The Argentine site also lacks the Chilean answer describing what the wheelchair service covers. JetSMART carries no stretchers, incubators or coffins and no certified medical oxygen on board. Two different lithium regimes live on the site: the general 100 Wh / 2-spare rule is for phones, laptops and power banks — the mobility-aid rule is 300 Wh (or 2 × 160 Wh).
