Fragments only. Iran Airtour Airline publishes some assistance information but not a full mobility-aid policy. What is below is everything it actually states. Everything marked “not published” genuinely is — confirm it with the airline rather than assuming the international baseline applies.
Who to contact
Transcribed from the airline’s own pages, exactly as it labels them.
- PhoneAirport affairs representative / Tabriz sales office — printed as 0413120, open 24 hours; the number the rules page tells passengers to call if there is a problem at the Iran Airtour check-in counter24 hours
- Emailinfo@iranairtour.ir — the only published address; used for the Tehran head office, the Mashhad airport branch and the Tabriz office alike
- Online form

Iran Airtour publishes no phone number at all for its Tehran head office or Mashhad branch — only postal addresses and one shared e-mail. The single usable phone number is 0413120 (Tabriz office / airport-affairs representative, 24 h), transcribed from a 1 July 2025 archive capture; iranairtour.ir has been unreachable from outside Iran ever since, so none of these could be re-verified on 29 July 2026. The site template contains a «فرم درخواست ویلچر» (wheelchair request form) modal asking for ticket, reference and flight number, but no visible link opens it and its instruction text is the travel-agency registration boilerplate, so it may not be functional. Warning: iranairtours.com, listed in some directories as an Iran Airtour domain, was re-registered in February 2026 and now serves an unrelated online-casino site — do not use it.

Powered wheelchairs & batteries
The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.
Not published, and the signals are bad: Iran Airtour has no powered-wheelchair rule, its prohibited dangerous-goods list names «باطری» (batteries) and «باتریهای خیس» (wet batteries) with no mobility-aid exception, and «پذیرش scooter در پروازهای بین المللی ... ممنوع می باشد» — scooters are banned on its international flights (the page does not say whether that covers mobility scooters). Clear a powered chair with the airline before booking.

Not published — lithium wheelchair batteries are never mentioned. The generic prohibited-goods list bans «باطری» (batteries) with no mobility-aid exception, so written approval should be obtained before travelling.

No exception for wheelchair batteries is published. (4 July 2025 capture.)

«پذیرش scooter در پروازهای بین المللی شرکت هواپیمایی ایران ایرتور ممنوع می باشد» — the baggage page bans 'scooter' carriage on international flights without defining the word; a mobility-scooter user must get this clarified in writing before booking.
Manual wheelchairs
Not published. Iran Airtour has no mobility-aid or special-assistance page; its rules cover medical clearance, baggage and prohibited goods only. It never states whether a passenger's own manual wheelchair is accepted, or on what terms.

Booking & cost
Where medical clearance is needed, the doctor's completed form must reach Iran Airtour's approved physicians «حداکثر تا 72 ساعت قبل از پرواز» — at the latest 72 hours before the flight — for final approval and for special services (ویلچر / wheelchair, stretcher, oxygen) to be noted; the clearance is then valid for 72 hours. AGE WARNING: quoted from the 4 July 2025 archive capture — iranairtour.ir has been unreachable from outside Iran since then, so confirm the 72 h before relying on it.

Sales offices must warn passengers who need clearance, and the medical information form must be recorded at the time of booking. The Tehran medical centre is open daily except Thursday, Friday and holidays, 08:00–14:00; in other cities by prior arrangement with approved doctors. No assistance-only request channel is published. (4 July 2025 capture; no newer copy of this page exists.)

«مسئولیت شرکت ... بر مبنای وزن بار تحویل شده ... می باشد» — liability is calculated on the WEIGHT of the checked item under applicable national and international air-transport law. A damage/loss report must be completed before leaving the baggage hall and a written claim filed with the airline's secretariat within the Warsaw Convention / Hague Protocol deadline. Nothing more generous is published for mobility aids. (4 July 2025 capture.)

Iran Airtour's refusal list states that «مسافرینی که ناتوانی فیزیکی ایشان به گونه ای است که نیازمند به کمک در طول پرواز داشته و فاقد همراه باشند» — passengers whose physical disability means they need help during the flight and who have no companion — are prohibited from flying, and that the airline may refuse carriage or service at its discretion «در صورتیکه قادر به کمک کافی به مسافران ناتوان نباشیم» (if we cannot adequately help disabled passengers). If the companion is judged inadequate, carriage is refused. (4 July 2025 capture.)

Worth knowing
AGE WARNING: every rule below is quoted from Internet Archive captures of Iran Airtour's own pages taken in late June / early July 2025 — about thirteen months old. Re-checked 29 July 2026: iranairtour.ir is unreachable from outside Iran. What was tried: scripts/fetch_page.py --render 25 and --render 40 (the r.jina.ai reader's own headless browser times out after 15 s, HTTP 422), plain direct fetch, --proxy-first, http:// and https://, with and without www, raw curl, and the subdomains en., cpanel., academy., fts. and emp.iranairtour.ir — DNS resolves (31.214.248.180) but every TCP connection times out, the classic sanctions/IP-filtering signature. CDX searches (no collapse=urlkey; limit=-N and a domain-wide from=20250701 statuscode:200 text/html sweep) confirm all six cited captures are already the newest that exist: the home page was last captured 25 June 2026, but the rules, baggage, medical-clearance and contact pages have not been captured since 1–7 July 2025. The English mirror en.iranairtour.ir/Rules (6 Jul 2025) was checked as a possible upgrade but archives only the AngularJS shell, with no rules text. iranairtours.com is now a squatted casino site, not the airline. Substance, as of July 2025: Iran Airtour publishes NO wheelchair or mobility-aid carriage policy and no watt-hour rules — the null fields reflect the airline's silence, not unreadable pages. What it does publish is a hard list of passengers it refuses: anyone needing a stretcher, anyone unable to use a standard aircraft seat in any position, anyone whose physical disability means they need help during the flight and who travels without a companion, and explicitly «پذیرش بیماران برانکاردی و بیمارانی که نیاز به اکسیژن کمکی در طول پرواز دارند در حال حاضر ... ممنوع است» (stretcher patients and passengers needing in-flight supplemental oxygen are currently not accepted). The airline also reserves the right to refuse carriage where it judges it cannot adequately assist a disabled passenger, or the companion inadequate. Medical clearance is not triggered by disability alone: war-disabled veterans with an ID card who need no special medical service are exempt, as are people with spinal-cord injuries who need neither stretcher, extra oxygen nor special medical services. Portable oxygen concentrators are allowed for chemical-warfare veterans with safety approval; compressed oxygen cylinders over 5 kg may not be taken into the cabin. PRM passengers are told to be at the airport 3 hours before an international and 1.5 hours before a domestic departure. Three things a human should re-check with the airline in writing: whether the international 'scooter' ban covers mobility scooters, whether the prohibited-goods ban on batteries and wet batteries is applied to wheelchair batteries, and whether any of these thirteen-month-old rules still stand.
