Iran Air publishes no disability desk: the only specialised channel is the HOMA Air Medical Centre (021-46624322, medical@iranair.com, Saturday–Wednesday), which handles medical clearance for passengers needing a wheelchair, stretcher or oxygen — but those details come from a 28 February 2024 archive capture, because iranair.com has not been reachable from outside Iran, or captured by the Internet Archive, since 14 June 2025. The one Iran Air property that IS live is the Rome office site iranair.it (checked 29 July 2026; the .it registry lists the registrant as "IRAN AIR the airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran", so it is airline-owned). It publishes nothing at all about wheelchairs, disability or assistance — only office contacts, flight times and general baggage allowances — so it is cited for contacts and baggage context only. iranair.at times out; iranair.co.uk is a parked GoDaddy page; iranair.ir resets the connection.

AGE WARNING — READ FIRST: every wheelchair-related figure in this record is quoted from an Internet Archive capture of Iran Air's own «نکات پزشکی» (medical notes) page taken on 28 February 2024, i.e. about two and a half years old. Re-checked on 29 July 2026: iranair.com is unreachable from outside Iran and the Internet Archive itself has no capture of it after 14 June 2025, so no newer snapshot exists to upgrade to. What was tried on 29 Jul 2026: scripts/fetch_page.py with --render 25/--render 40 (the r.jina.ai reader's own headless browser times out after 15 s on every iranair.com URL, HTTP 422), plain direct fetch, --proxy-first, https:// and http://, with and without www, and raw curl — DNS resolves (31.214.172.83) but the TCP connection times out every time, the classic sanctions/IP-filtering signature. Iran Air's Rome office site iranair.it IS live and is registered to "IRAN AIR the airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran", but publishes nothing on wheelchairs, disability or assistance, so it only supplies contacts and the general baggage allowance. Substance, unchanged since the 2024 capture: Iran Air publishes NO mobility-aid, wheelchair-battery or dangerous-goods page at all — the null fields reflect the airline's silence, not unreadable pages. A passenger who needs a wheelchair, oxygen, in-flight clinical care, a stretcher, or who wants to bring personal medical equipment into the cabin is treated as a medical case and needs written clearance from the HOMA Air Medical Centre, applied for at least 72 hours before departure. The 2018–2019 portal had FAQ entries titled 'What is the limit on accepting passengers who need a wheelchair?', but only the question titles survive in the archive; the answers were JavaScript-rendered and were never captured.
