The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.

Air Cairo's wheelchair battery rules are unusually complete for a carrier of its size: fixed and removable lithium batteries both capped at 300 Wh, wet batteries refused, spares one at 300 Wh or two at 160 Wh. The gap that matters is the repeated caveat on the assistance page that "some flights do not accept wheelchair" / "some Aircrafts do not accept wheelchair" for WCHR, WCHS and WCHC alike — Air Cairo never says which aircraft or routes, so a wheelchair user cannot tell in advance whether their flight is one of them. No weight or dimension limit is published, and there is no dedicated accessibility phone line or email. Country sites (en-sa, en-ae, en-de, it-it, …) mirror the same English text. aircairo.com returned HTTP 500 for a period during this research and the Conditions of Carriage page could not be read at all.
